The Grönefeld family has a watchmaking history spanning over more than a century, the foundations of which were established in 1912 by Johan Grönefeld. This legacy is now managed by the third generation, The Horological Brothers Bart and Tim Grönefeld. They made it their mission to build elegant timepieces with surprising mechanisms that belong to the best in the world.
In 2021, the complete Grönefeld team moves to new premises at Sint Plechelmusplein in Oldenzaal overlooking the Plechelmus Basilica.In 2022, the Horological Brothers Bart & Tim Grönefeld were honoured to receive the prestigious Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in the Chronograph category for the 1941 Grönograaf.
Grönefeld uses the most time-honoured techniques during the creation of its revered timepieces. “We don’t go for easy solutions, but embrace technical challenges to ultimately deliver the best solutions. We want our watches to be complex yet reliable and we design them accordingly.” said the Grönefeld brothers
