H.Moser & Cie – 1904-0400

  • Description
  • Technical Specifications

Highly complex in mechanics with a contemporary aesthetic, the Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon in red gold and Aqua Blue dial simultaneously displays a kinetic spectacle and masterful symphony. Challenging the technical boundaries, the gongs and hammers are boldly placed on the dial side within a delicate 40 mm case. The mesmerizing recital is set against the “Grand feu” enamel dial in a brand-new colour on a base with a hammered texture.

Adding to the inherent complexity of the minute repeater movement, the hammers and gongs had to be redesigned to allow the acoustics to flow clearly in an atypical, rectangular format. A rare and challenging feat in creating form-fitting movements.

H.Moser & Cie Streamliner Centre Seconds

  • Description
  • Technical Specifications

Following the self-winding Flyback chronograph launched in January 2020, the Streamliner Centre Seconds is the second model in the collection. “Streamliner” is a reference to the first high-speed trains from the Twenties and Thirties, whose rounded curves these models re-interpret. This new model focuses on the essential: hours, minutes, centre seconds. Equipped with a steel case on an integrated steel bracelet, the aesthetic of the Streamliner Centre Seconds is perfectly harmonious, from its ideal proportions and fluid forms to its high-end finishes. It is paired with a brand-new and uniquely elegant fumé dial in salmon colour.

A staple classic, the 3-hand watch requires expertise of the very highest level, as it is the details that elevate a piece. Balanced, precise proportions are the key to harmony, and the Streamliner Centre Seconds perfectly illustrates this philosophy. Featuring a 40.0-mm steel cushion case, which is water-resistant to 12 ATM, it offers extraordinary ergonomics thanks to the design which includes a fully integrated steel bracelet with no lugs on the case. The case middle has hollowed and satin-finished forms on the sides, and alternating brushed and polished surfaces, in a nod to the traditional unusual shapes typical of Moser cases. It is topped by a subtly domed sapphire crystal, echoed by the see-through case back. Extending these curves, the integrated steel bracelet is elegantly arced to follow the line of the wrist. Highly complex in construction, this bracelet has extremely fluid lines, based on organic forms. All the links are articulated and feature a gentle wave combining a vertical brushed finish with polished surfaces. A true technical feat, this bracelet is a masterpiece of subtlety and sophistication, with flexibility to match.

H.Moser & Cie – Streamliner Tourbillon

  • Description
  • Technical Specifications

Following on from the all-steel version, H. Moser & Cie. is releasing a red gold Streamliner. The streamlined aesthetic of this ode to minimalism complements the complexity of the automatic movement and the materials chosen. In a striking play of contrasts, H. Moser & Cie. distils the essence of the tourbillon, the traditional Haute Horlogerie mechanism, combining it with Vantablack®, an innovative coating used in astrophysics and taken from the aeronautical industry. Minimalist, ultra-modern and timeless.

Extremely meticulous polishing and satin-finishing work on adjacent surfaces is required to obtain the high-end finishes for which the Streamliner collection has become renowned. The transitions between the different types of finishes must indeed be flawless.

The Streamliner Perpetual Calendar in steel with a Fumé dial boasts one the most ingenious and intuitive complications. Additional to its instantaneous date change function, the award-winning movement newly features three-dimensional hands indicating the hours and minutes. The sleek steel bracelet, innovative Globolight® inserts and the signature Fumé dial perfectly complete the H. Moser & Cie. aesthetic.

Rather than inundate the dial with windows, this perpetual calendar uses a small arrow and the 12 indices to represent the month. Additionally, the date and month can be set forwards or backwards at any time, without risk to the movement.

H.Moser & Cie – 1804-0401

  • Description
  • Technical Specifications

Making the complicated appear simple, the Endeavour Tourbillon watch in rose gold Ox’s Eye stone dial combines H. Moser & Cie.’s ultra-minimalistic “concept” design – with no logo or indices – with a double hairspring flying 60-second tourbillon, boasting superlative precision and a mesmerizing kinetic spectacle for the wearer as it beats and turns against the partially open dial.

Conceived to counteract the effects of gravity on the watch’s timekeeping precision, the tourbillon is a device in which the regulating organ and escapement are placed, which constantly rotates around a central axis to eliminate any positional errors.
